.history.

Dinah has spent most of her life bouncing back and forth across oceans between her divorced parents. Her mother, Dolores, is a rich heiress who married Dinah's father, David, in college. But after a few years of marriage the relationship went sour and they divorced. However, both of them agreed to maintain dual guardianship over Dinah. She lived in Jerusalem with her father and grandparents during the summer, generally enjoying herself. Her grandparents would teach her the Talmud and her Father would take her various places.

She spent her winters with her mother going to the best private schools money could buy, constantly getting in trouble for reading comic-books and other things in class and generally being unmotivated. Her mother was a bit of an airhead, but she cared deeply about her daughter and Dinah felt the same in return.

When she was twelve, her mother and she got into a huge row which began with a disagreement over where to go to dinner. It escalated into a screaming match. The argument ended when her mother threw a wineglass at Dinah, and raising her hand to shield herself, Dinah stopped it in mid-air.

Life was never really the same for Dinah after that.

Dolores took the revelation of Dinah's powers very well after a few days of hysterical worrying that her daughter might have been possessed by something, settling down happily with the knowledge that her daughter was "special". She showed her powers to the rest of the family in Jerusalem, and after a storm of questions, they accepted her power as a part of her, telling her that she must have some type of "destiny". Dinah didn't worry much over her powers. In fact she rather enjoyed them; as the years went by and she gained more and more control, they were really quite convenient.

She is currently enrolled in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

.personality.

Despite the fact that her mother is stinking rich, Dinah is surprisingly unspoiled. She is a kind and very considerate young woman, cheerful and fun-loving, always wanting to spend time with her friends doing whatever strikes them or her as fun. She says what she feels, even if sometimes people take what she says as an insult. Dinah is more than a bit clumsy and is extremely impatient when she thinks that people are wasting time. She enjoys reading, and hopes one day to write a best-selling novel, although currently she cannot get a plot together and has discarded well over twelve manuscripts.

Yet despite all Dinah's cheerfulness, at the same time she knows when to be serious. She's not naïve, and knows that there are many cruel people and that life isn't fair. Humans are capable of doing horrible things after all. But as long as she can, she'll try to protect the things precious to her. She is very determined once she sets her mind to something.

.appearance.

Long blonde hair, a full figure, bright blue eyes--Dinah is very beautiful. She likes to wear her knee-length hair in a distinctive style of two pigtails with buns on either side of her head. She strikes people as always being genuine and nothing is hesitant in her mannerisms.
